A project about quiet, suspended moments — and what sits just beneath them.
Weight of Stillness was a solo exhibition of new personal work — a series of photographs shown alongside a short film on continuous loop. The scenes are domestic and ordinary: a table, a meal being prepared, a television left on. Each is constructed, lit, and held at the point just before anything resolves.
Warm highlights sit against cooler shadows. Familiar objects anchor each frame while something in it stays slightly out of true. Figures are caught in gestures they never finish.
